RELATIONSHIP THERAPY & COUNSELING

Relational therapy takes into account social factors such as race, class, culture and gender. It examines power struggles and other issues that develop as a result of these factors, as well as how they relate to the relationships in a person's life.
The path to repairing or reclaiming a relationship is rarely straight. Experiencing pushback or unwillingness is common — but certainly not the end.

At S.O.L.E. Counseling, we can help guide you through the process to heal your relationship.

Relationship Therapy

Relational therapy can help those who are experiencing distress from their family, intimate, professional, or social relationships. Our therapists address issues within the therapeutic relationship's context and the client's relationships outside of therapy. This approach can help those with low self-esteem, eating disorders, and poor body image, and mood disorders.

SOLE Counseling's primary goal is to help you use those new ideas and therapy tools to create healthier, longer-lasting relationships with others. We cover many different types of treatments and areas to help your relationship heal:

  • Relationship Therapy & Counseling Services
  • Relationship Challenges (Infidelity, Betrayal Trauma, Porn/Sexual Addictions).
  • Maintaining a relationship (Communication, Trust, and Goal Setting).
  • Guidance through divorce, separation, or remarried (Co-parenting) type situations.

Relationship Challenges

Persistent sexual desires, thoughts, and behavior can become unwelcome and problematic. People who become preoccupied with sexual fantasies and urges act on these impulses. This pattern of behavior is often referred to as hyper-sexuality or sex addiction. Most experts agree that having frequent sex is not necessarily a sign of a problem.

At S.O.L.E. Counseling we'll help you find the best treatment for sexual impulsivity and explores topics like the individual’s feelings, beliefs about self, and past sexual experiences as part of the healing process.

Techniques For Maintaining Your Relationship

A person with an addiction uses a substance or engages in risky practices for a false sense of gratification. Our therapists understand how to help someone to gain control over these harmful behaviors.

At S.O.L.E. Counseling we can help higher risk people through over-intoxication, abuse of, or withdrawal from a legal or illegal substances.

Divorce & Co-Parenting

A breakup can have a devastating effect on a person's ego and self-esteem, experts say. For some, it can cause intense emotional trauma that lingers for years. A breakup is potentially a major life stressor.

If you feel your marriage is unrepairable, before making a major decision, such as divorce, give us a call. We can help you exhaust all options.
